So this post is a long time coming and it is coming in LONG. After camping with my family at Duck Creek, Brad flew in to Las Vegas and we headed out to St. George for the first Annual Morgan Family Reunion!
Mom and Dad Morgan rented a nice house in St. George so we could all spend some quality time together. It was quite the fun-filled week!
Each night someone was in charge of dinner and most had a theme and decorations. Like the country picnic BBQ:
Brad and I did a Tex Mex night and won THE GOLDEN SPOON award. It was that good :)
Much of the week was spent hanging out at the house playing games, swimming, watching olympics, or taking countless pictures with Afton :)

Afton with Aunt Allison
Brad with Kim's "glasses" or should I say frames.
While there we celebrated Brad's birthday. I made him a delicious mint chocolate chip ice cream cake with fudge instead of frosting. It might not look too pretty, but it was DELICIOUS
Afton at the family fun center driving her first car!
One day we had some family pictures taken by the talented Megan Gneiting
Megan was so great to work with and we really loved the end result.
After the photo shoot we stopped by the temple.
Brad and I wanted to get a picture there with Afton.
On this trip the boys did a lot of golfing. A LOT of golfing. So one evening the girls went out to see Aladdin at the Tuacahn Theater. It was so well done. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Towards the end of the week we headed out to Zions to hike a little bit of the Narrows.
Afton stayed with Grandma while the rest of us hiked into the river.
Here are my 3 favorite shots of Brad and I in the narrows, can you guess why?
Whew! That's the end! As you can see, we had a busy, fun filled week in St. George with the Morgans and are excited for next years reunion!
But wait! The Western Exodus is not over yet! Stay tuned for the last installment of our adventure :)
