7 Months

Yes. I know. Afton is almost 9 months and I am just now making her 7 month update - for shame! 

But take a look at this face and tell me: 

Would you be blogging if you had these gorgeous blue eyes to look at?

As you can see in the picture above, Afton's first 2 teeth have arrived! I first felt them poking through on August 24th, so this picture is 2 weeks after initial breakthrough. 

Afton also likes to move a lot more. Which made it almost impossible to take pictures. I put together my favorite "fail" shots for your enjoyment.

Speaking of tasty things: Afton has been eating purees for a couple months now, and she LOVES it. I have yet to give her something she won't eat. She does pull a face if the texture is new, like for bread, but it doesn't stop her for too long.

Afton sits up quite well now. She can't get into sitting position on her own yet, but she is figuring out how to get out of it. It isn't too graceful though, it's mostly a lean-forward-and-fall-on-your-face-and-squirm-your-legs-out kind of a deal. 

She also does this funny pointy tongue thing. 

I find it hilarious and adorable. Hilariously adorable.

Afton is still our happy baby girl! Even with the teething she didn't really put up much fuss. I honestly couldn't ask for an easier child - which kind of makes me worried about the next child. Can you luck out and get all angel babies?! I hope so!
