So for the last month or so I have been realizing that Afton's hair was getting a little ridiculous. Most of her dark newborn hair fell out, and lighter hair has been growing in. The dark hair that remained had grown quite long, but I never thought of cutting it because Afton is a girl. Girl's have long hair. Besides, I didn't want her to be bald!
Well one day I discovered this:
That's right. Almost all of her dark hair is only on the crown of her head. So she essentially had a nice comb-over.
I also realized that she had quite a bit of lighter hair growing in, but because of her comb-over you couldn't see it.
So I got out the scissors and started clipping.
Here is the before:
And the after:
Bye Bye Old Man Comb-over!
Brad was a little sad to see all her hair go. She looked a little too boyish for his likings. I assured him that her hair would grow and that in the mean time we would keep bows on her in public. :)
It's only been a couple of weeks since her first haircut and it's already quite a bit longer! I still am not sure what her hair is going to do. Is she going to stay brunette or go blonde? Only time will tell.

I think you did well in cutting her hair. Not that I didn't like the Alfalfa style... ;)
