I don't know what happen between months 10 and 11, but all of a sudden Afton seems SO BIG. When we got back from Oregon, I was baffled at how Afton could quickly figure out her new toys, reach EVERYTHING, and just look so much older. Where did my wee little lass go?
It is now clear that Afton LOVES attention and will do just about anything to get it. Sometimes this worries me, but for now I will just enjoy all of her cheesy smiles, stranger stare-downs, and sweet "goodbye" waves.
Afton is not walking yet, is not cruising yet, and is hesitant to take steps in general. I am completely ok with this. She crawls too fast for her own good, and I don't mind having a little extra time to adjust. :)
Afton still LOVES her books. She has her bottom shelf filled with books and loves to pull them off and flip through them.
Afton has a flare for mischief. I have no doubt that she inherits this trait from her Grandma and Grandpa Morris. (IF any of you know my Dad, or have been to girl's camp with my Mom than I am sure you would agree.)
One of Afton's favorite games is to wait for me to look at her and then she gets this big grin on her face and makes a mad dash for Nemo's food. Yes, she has actually gotten cat food in her mouth before, but never actually eaten it.
Other acts of mischeif include, but are not restricted to, messing with Daddy's media center (resulting in a new tv stand), chucking things out of the stroller/shopping cart, and chasing Nemo around the house. All of said activities are accompanied by cute and adorable "stop me if you can" giggles.
All in all, we love our little Boo Monster. She is so much fun to care for, and brings an immense amount of joy into our lives.

I cannot believe you almost have a one year old! And seriously i don't know how you travel around so much with Afton by yourself. You must have some super mom talent because I can barely go to the store a few blocks away :) Hope you guys are doing well. I'm glad to hear her head is okay.
