10 months

Oh my my my....10 months old! 

Afton is becoming quite the little character. I would describe it as a mix between cheerful, persistent, and fiesty. Yes, she is fiesty. I am still trying to figure out where that comes from.

Afton has now perfected her "cheesey" smile. She can really ham it up when she wants to.

Aton became suddenly picky about the foods she would eat the day she turned 10 months. It was very strange. All of a sudden she wanted nothing to do with sweet potatoes and peas, among other things that she normally loved. I am pretty sure it had to do with the gradual switch to finger foods. Fortunately, I am a "sneaky mom" and have found a few ways to get her to try things she doesn't "want."

She also has 5 teeth! three on top and 2 on bottom.

Something I have really found cute lately is Afton is mimicking things that we do. Particularly noises. She tries to bark by going "eh, eh, eh." She will often try to mimick Nemo's meowing, especially when he is whining. She will also click her tongue at Nemo, which I do frequently. And Brad has lots of fun trying to get her to growl or say "dada."

She has gotten more cuddly this month as well. She gives the sweetest cuddles to her stuffed animals. 

That's right folks. She just waved hello! She has been working on the timing of this for quite sometime. It still needs a little work, but isn't it so cute?

The one thing about this age that drives me a little nuts is how clingy she has been lately. It is endearing at times, but I miss being able to clean the kitchen while she plays in the family room. But there could be worse things than your child being OBSESSED with you right? :)
