This post will touch on the non-beach activities of our trip. One day we decided to drive around essentially all of Maui on "the road to Hana." It was a LONG but BEAUTIFUL drive on a winding road that leads you through the jungle-ness of Maui where there are lots of waterfalls and gorgeous views.
The day was stormy on and off... which made for some awesome waves.
I told Brad I was going to take a picture of him and he kept waving his arms around, so I asked him what he was doing and he told me he was conducting the water like Mickey Mouse.... I just love him <3
Here was Brad's one chance to get really wet in a waterfall, it was so stormy that most of the waterfall ponds were closed for swimming.
Cool tree we found at one of our stops
We also caught some pretty sunsets at Lahaina
and Brad made a new friend
AND he got in touch with his feminine side.
All in all it was a fabulous and relaxing trip and we highly recommend Hawaii to any of you who are considering going :)
