HOUSTON, TX

So last week Brad and I went to Houston, TX for his week long training with Ernst & Young. I don't think I ever had to navigate myself in such a HUGE city. I got lost way too much for my own good; luckily I had a map of the city handy at all times. It is a beautiful city, and we stayed in a really nice hotel. Just don't go walking around the downtown streets there at night (we had at least 4 people tell us this).

You all may be wondering what I did all week while Brad was working. Well, for your information I didn't just sleep all day in the hotel (although it was tempting). Instead I...

...stayed nice and cool by the pool...

...visited the Houston Library and did some light reading...

...got hissed at by grumpy geese at the park...

...swam with the piranha's at the zoo...
(I was acting scared... glare is in the way)

...went to see the monument set up for Brad's all time favorite basketball player/childhood role model...
...and visited the BEAUTIFUL Houston temple with my best friend!

We also watched a few movies, ate at some fun restaurants, enjoyed the hot tub, and went and played games with John and Tiffany (John is interning with Exxon in Houston). Tiffany actually went to the zoo with me... I just didn't get any pictures of both of us.
