We were excited to have Brad's dad come visit us for the 4th of July weekend.
He got in town on the 3rd and we FINALLY saw Star Trek with him that evening. This was Brad and mine's 3rd attempt. The first two attempts we got all the way to the theater to find out that the showtime had been canceled! We loved the movie, it was worth all of the attempts.
Then on the 4th Brad was able to get hooked up with some tickets to the Astros game in Houston!
(I know, its the Astros, but its still a baseball game!)
Our parking spot was right in front of the stadium, so nice.
We had no idea how awesome these seats were going to be.
We were right behind home base, in the Diamond Club!
(Which also came with lots of delicious free food and concessions)

I kind of felt like royalty at this game. It was incredible - a luxury baseball game experience.
Afton did pretty decently at the game considering it was right during nap time.
Let's just say we did a lot of ipad time and walking around during the game, and she took an awesome nap the way home to San Antonio.
That night we got home just in time for some awesome neighborhood fireworks, which Afton fortunately slept through because she was exhausted.
During Grampa's visit we also played a lot of Settlers of Catan.
We also went to Sea World!
I think Afton had fun showing Daddy and Grandpa around Sea World :)
That wraps up Grandpa's visit.
We had a lot of fun, and can't wait to see him again!
