Blessed Day

The first weekend in March, both Brad's and my parents came into town for Afton's blessing. It was a lovely weekend filled with lots of love and baby cuddles. We had a great time with our parents and were sad to see them go.

And of course, the grandmas and I had to take lots and lots of pictures of Afton in her sweet dress.

So something extra special about this dress is that it is a family heirloom. This is the same dress I wore. My dad's mother lent it to my mother so I could be blessed in it, and then later framed it as a gift. It has been passed down in her family for several generations.

It is such a simple sweet dress! Needless to say, I was very careful with the dress and it is going back in the frame to be preserved for future generations.
