And just in case we weren't lucky enough already...

Last week we got back from a wonderful trip to Hawaii. Nothing like a belated graduation gift to escape the stresses of unpacking. Yes, this will be a marathon post with lots of pictures! So don't say I didn't warn you!

We stayed on Maui in a Worldmark hotel/condo thing with Brad's parents and youngest sister Kim. We were there for about 10 days and had a lot of fun! I know you are all wondering what we did. Well we.....

Went to a lot of different beautiful beaches...
This beach was across the street from Cher's house!
This was a nice little beach that had some BIG waves with some crazy surfers to boot.
we spent most of our time at this beach...it starts with a K and was across the street from where we stayed

And while we were at those beaches we....

played in the sand
Say hello to Sampson the Sea Turtle (we actually got to see some sea turtles this size!)
The largest sand castle we have ever had the gusto to build

and wrote sweet messages in the sand...

and we played in the waves

Did I say play in the waves? I meant got DEMOLISHED in them.
AND we even got to watch a wedding!!!
(I need to clarify that we didn't mean to intrude, but they literally set up their ceremony right in front of us... so we couldn't help it.)

We also did a lot of SNORKELING. I don't have any pics of us in snorkel gear, but we snorkeled just about every day. We saw lots of cool fish, some really pretty coral and some BIG sea turtles. One sea turtle swam right at Brad and he had to scramble to get out of its way. Fortunately Brad still has all of his appendages.

There were also a LOT of crabs there! They were so fascinating. I even found Pinky and The Brain's long lost relative!
The sand crabs were really funny to watch, so we took a short video...
Isn't that funny?! They would do this over and over, go in their hole, and come up with a bunch of dirt and chuck it outside. What good housekeepers!

So this post is long enough already... stay tuned for more posts and pics from our trip!
