3 Months

The belated 3 months post! Overall Afton is a pretty happy 3 month old.

Afton weighs in just under 12 pounds. (I only know this because I was afraid Afton had thrush again, so we had an extra Dr visit) She is a long and lean baby.

She continues to hold up her head remarkably well. She even rolled over from tummy to back for the first time earlier this week, but has yet to repeat it.

 She also fills out her 3 month clothes quite nicely :)

 Afton is starting to become quite the social little butterfly. She loves to make gurgly noises and make spit bubbles with her tongue. If Brad or I make these same noises she does a great big smile and squeal of delight, and then repeats the noise back to us. They are very wet conversations ;)

She also makes many many many hilarious faces that I just love to look at and snap pictures of.

A lot of people like to ask how Afton sleeps right now. She sleeps pretty well through the night, giving me a 4-5 hour stretch followed by a few more. We are figuring naps out still, but I don't complain. I get enough rest to function.... most days. She even will take a pacifier now to go to sleep. It has helped her settle in to bed time quite nicely.

Another random development is the stuffing of hands in the mouth. She just barely started it. It makes her hands kind of smelly, so I wash them more. And I am starting to get used to having baby slobber wiped all over me. :)
