This weekend Brad's lifelong dream came true...
Not only did he get a picture with the Clutch the Bear statue,
but he also got to see the Houston Rockets play on their home court in the Toyota Center.
And to top it off my brother and his wife, Taylor and Stasi, joined us for this momentous occasion.
And because this was such a momentous occasion I had to document with lots of pictures:
We actually got a good picture together! Brad is not making a goofy face and I am not blinking. You don't know how rare that is.
Brad LOVED Hakeem the Dream growing up, in fact he wanted to be him.
He can hardly contain his excitement.
Brad sees how well he can measure up to Yao Ming. |
I think my head would barely reach Yao Ming's sternum. |
That's 2 world championships in case you were wondering |
See those seats up there? That's where we sat for most of the game. Then in the third quarter we were given tickets to move to the lower level.... where you can actually see the players faces!
Needless to say, Brad was thrilled.

The whole time reading I thought the title was Bad Dreams Come True. I was waiting to see what the bad part was, but then there was nothing (I thought maybe the Rocket's lost bad). That's when I reread the title. You did not mention if they won or not though . . .
Rockets won big! Destroyed the Pacers in a good all-around team effort. I was also very happy to see Dragic play (one of my new favorite Rockets). Hasheem even got to play the last 2 minutes, which was cool. It was so much fun I'm already considering getting tickets to go back next month!
