My Christmas Classics

Do you have your staple Christmas movies that you must watch every Christmas? Or Christmas music that just puts you right in the Christmas spirit? Well Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without my movies and music.
Movies first:
Love them. I grew up watching these claymation classics and The Grinch. It must be the cartoon Grinch. The Jim Carrey one distracts from what the story is all about: finding the true meaning of Christmas. Then the Elf is just hilarious and perfect - an instant Christmas Classic.

And my all time favorit Christmas Movie Ever:
That's right. Charlie Brown Christmas. I pretty much have this movie memorized. Not only is it hilarious, but it does a great job of pointing out that we need to get away from the big "Commercial Christmas Racket" and find the real reason for the season.

Now for Music:
There is a ton of good Christmas music out there. But my absolute must-haves are:

John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together
This CD is just fun. If you can find the version that has "Little Saint Nick" then get that one.
Kind of a Given. But this sound track is just jazzy and fun. I also love the piano music

Her music is everything that Christmas music should be. Seriously. If you haven't heard her stuff, you are truly missing out. She has quite a few CD's and I am realizing that she has some new stuff that I have yet to get :)

Anywho, there you have it. My Christmas Classics. What are yours?
