Even The Pizza Is Bigger in Texas

Five co-workers and I decided to tackle a pizza at Big Lou's on Thursday for lunch this week. We were almost able to pull off the victory, but as lunch's fourth quarter began, our stamina rapidly declined.

Our excuses:
  1. Really there were only 5 of us - not 6 - eating the pizza. One of my co-workers only ate a nibble as she wants to be sure to "fit into her wedding dress" in about 2 months. She had a salad.
  2. Ok, actually there were only 4 1/2 of us - not 5 - because one of my co-workers recently learned that his cholesterol is too high, so he ordered a salad and still helped with the pizza.
  3. Look at the size of this thing! (It's 42" in diameter or 5 1/2 sq. feet of pizza if I did my math right- pi times squared radius, right?)

We're convinced we'll have it next time with 6 of us. But we don't plan to try again for another year because pizza probably won't sound good until then.... if it ever sounds good again...

Holy cow! That almost makes me sick looking at it. Has anyone ever finished that thing?!

I don't think anyone by himself or herself could EVER finish this thing alone.... It's like a gallon of cheese which would be worse than the milk gallon challenge...
