So, I left work early today and did some exploring along the Provo River between Utah lake and where we live. I ran into some really nice Mexican kids that showed me an awesome hole on the River. In the hour I was there at that spot I caught 5 white bass (never even caught a white bass before), and the other - more experienced - people on the river were catching them even faster than I was. It was funny because we were all giving our fish to this old Oriental man... I swear his 5-gallon bucket had more than 50 fish in it when I left! So that was exciting- can't believe I didn't know all this existed right here in my backyard until this summer...
So if anyone wants to go fishing, I now know of one good spot. Hopefully I'll find some more spots soon!
