John Schmidt and Being Sick

So... I am just going blog crazy this week. You might want to scroll down the page because I have done quite a few this week :). Anyways..... Last Saturday Brad woke up really sick. I don't really know what he had... but he has been coughing a lot... especially at night. Then this Friday, I woke up sick... but I have something different than Brad... instead of coughing I am tired and can't breathe through my nose. We are both feeling better today... so hopefully we will continue on the track. The really sad thing is that we were going to volunteer at the MTC for the elders learning spanish, but we had to cancel two weeks now... because we have been sick. :(

On a happy note... We went to the John Schmidt concert last night... and it was spectacular. He had his 16 year old son and his band open the show. They were pretty good for just starting out... but they definitely need some practice performing. The songs were good though, and his son wrote all of them.. I think that was the coolest part of their performance.

Then John Schmidt played. He is so good! It inspired me, I need to start playing the piano again.... someday. It was really fun how he played different arrangements of songs we already knew. Like Elvis, and Linus and Lucy, and CHRIS BROWN. haha. he played the hearts all over the world tonight with his cello friend. It was amazing. the whole show was amazing. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I could actually breathe through my nose...but it was still a night very well spent.
