Pictures for the Best Birthday Suprises Ever

Here you go.... we didn't really take a ton of pictures. I always feel a little awkard asking someone to take pictures for me.


this first one is of the GORGEOUS Portland temple... we were about to drive away and i made brad pull over so i could take a picture :)






This is us outside the Tillamook Cheese Factory... it was SOOOOOOO yummy. and crowded. Who would have thought so many people would want to see how cheese is made!





And this my friends is the beautiful oregon coast. This rock disappeared about an hour later. It looks really cold but it was actually really nice.

The Best Birthday Surprise Ever

So... Jessica surprised me for my birthday. She told me she was going up to St. George with some friends for the weekend and instead showed up at my house Friday (July 25th) after work. I was in my room feeling down that it was my birthday weekend and I wouldn't get to see or even talk to Jessica at all. Then, she called me from downstairs in my own house and got me to come out of my room. Believe me-- I have NEVER been so surprised in my entire life. My heart stopped entirely and then it did a flip. That was the beginning of one of the BEST weekends imaginable.

We packed the weekend as full as we could with fun stuff together including a trip to the beautiful Portland Temple, going to the movies, sampling cheeses and eating ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, spending a day relaxing on the beach, eating Mo's famous clam chowder, and testing Jessica's ability to remember names as she met and mingled with almost the entire Morgan side of my family Sunday afternoon. It was an amazing weekend never to be forgotten.
